So far, so good.. I just started watching this, got curious about the good reviews.
Is it worth it until the last season?

I'm never sure with these threads, but I have some questions regarding last nights channel 4 episode. Do I need spoiler tags?

Spoiler tags are probably best as some won't have seen it yet. I don't know what spoiler etiquette is but I reckon give it until a week after airing and you are in the clear.

Loved last night's episode, but think I might have missed a bit about Quinn's quest to track down the mysterious gunman.

After he traced the call from Dar to the Gunman, he set off to the cafeteria, where he met up with a waitress who said neither she nor the other girl had been working the night before. Next thing, he was watching the house where the gunman was.
How did he track down the gunman to the house??

did you see the bit where he went to the working house of his former colleagues? as far as I can make out he tracked him down through that. or we might need to wait until next week to establish that

I'm confused too; how did he know to go to that house in the first place? What linked it to anything he already knew about the gunman? I'm struggling to make the connection. The waitress gave nothing away/.

maybe it was because he knew the gunman was ordered by Dar and that he was using former colleagues to chase him? remember he knew the house alarm code and where the key was to get in......as ever with Homeland it only all makes sense towards the end when things all get linked in.

[spoiler] Yes, saw the former colleagues house bit when he had a flashback-type thing. I suppose if he saw the gunman was in town X, and thinks the gunman is working for intelligence services, he might have put two and two together and thought "ah, when i was a hitman for the same bunch they had a safe house in that town. wonder if they are still using it..."

When he traced the call it led him to that diner I believe, then when he's there the waitress recognises him. She tells him she doesn't like the "new guys" and he went to check out the safe house, at which point he discovered the van.

Finally at my desk top so can do spoiler tags

When the President elect came to Carries house and asked her if Dar had got to her through her daughter, why didn't Carrie just tell her what had happened?
The president would have just sent the secret service to collect her daughter and keep her safe until everything was resolved. A brief investigations would then show Dar influencing the child welfare officer, which would add to the case against him.

Loved the latest episode, it's really heating up now! I can't say much more as I think I'm a week ahead of everyone.

Yeah, finally watched the latest ep. Seems the special ops guys have regular houses, and once Quinn knew thw area he knew where it would be for Dar's special boys. Very good ep. I too wanted Carrie to tell the Prez elect, but what could the Prez have done, do they have powers to interfere in such a direct way over social services?

Same here. I did have reservations early on in this series that it might be getting close to its best by date but it's come alive in the last few episodes.

I imagine that if national security is at stake they would be able to do. Pretty much what they needed to.

This show is so so strong, really seems to have its finger on the pulse to the point it almost feels like its preempting stuff. The guy who is like Info Wars is a cracking character and so very very now.

I haven't clicked that above. Is the next (UK) episode the season finale? Goes WAY too quickly!

I think the next episode is available to stream if not able to wait until next Sunday? Difficult to fit in another ep before then anyway, what with Billions, Broadchurch, Better Caul Sall, etc! Oh, and, er, life!

Last night's ep was excellent. I reckon Dar has been played, it would explain his earlier reluctance on some issues, and the (previously held opinion of mine) on the 1d character of the Alex Jones bloke. I did think Dar was going to bump off the IT nerd (I guessed it was Dar as soon as he got the key), but Dar needed info...interesting...I reckon the money me we saw earlier in the series have used Dar as a tool.

Next week's ep should be amazing.

Stellar yet again. As TV it is simply without equal IMO.
