Everybody keeps banging on about how funny this program is, but when I watch it there’s a nothing funny going on.

Have I just switched on at the wrong moment, or is like an old car in that it takes a while to warm up?

This is a rhetorical question, right?

If not, because it doesn't match your sense of humour. It's ok not to like all the same things as your friends.

Thank fk I am not the only one, I have been told by many many people that is is piss your pants funny, I have watch 4 or 5 of them and other then the odd chuckle couldn't really get in to it. I am sure its funny for other people (and make no judgment of them on that basis) but I am not one of them.

I think it's OK, I've watched worse. Mrs. Hetfield really loves it though, I think you just need to have a certain sense of humour to get it. Tried to get tickets for the last 2 live shows and they're like gold dust, sold out almost instantly.

Watched 20 minutes or so over Christmas and not even a hint of a smile.
As funny as standing on an upturned plug.

The problem with Mrs Brown's Boys is that it is far too similar to "When the Whistle Blows" from extras. It's just a bit crap, for me anyway.

Which are the funny parts though? Genuinely interested in which bits people find funny- is it the idea that Mrs Brown is a bloke? speaks in a funny accent or that verbal gags she makes?
