Kimi only one to make a decision, back to pits, out of overalls, into civvies, Magnum and a Coca Cola. Spot on. So not a corporate billboard then.

VoziKaoFangio said: So not a corporate billboard then. Well did he go up to the cameras and give interviews while at the same time blatantly placing the products in shot? iIRC no he did not, but in reality he kept a low profile, probably because the official line from Ferrari was that if his Kers was fixed and the race was restarted he would go out. Also whilst many people know about the ice cream the cola is often forgotten, so in the overall scheme of things, e.g. blatant watch promotion on podium, in my opinion, not corporate bill board, Kimi just fancied a Magnum and a Coca Cola.

He's a non conformer and I like that.
Quiet does not equal dull. Indeed. And if even half the stories about him are true he's anything but dull. I very much doubt he got that scar by drinking cocoa and doing The Times crossword. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MlsMVzrp2o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VW2oAkjcJ4 The stories are true and we only hear about *some* of them! Kimi is very well known in Finland for being an absolute drunken bum. His WRC performances are attributed to his being basically pished throughout his F1 "retirement". There is a very very different attitude to alcohol and drinking culture in Finland. The picnic drinking culture for a start! Its, well...different.

Sums up "TopGearSuperFan" perfectly I've argued this point so many times it's unreal, but sniff puts it far better than I ever could; sniffpetrol said: Another thing; lose the star in a reasonably priced car unless its someone who genuinely loves cars such as Jay Kay or Rowan Atkinson or Jay Kay or Rowan Atkinson or Jay Kay or Rowan Atkinson. Those guys were great guests, although I fast forwarded through their interviews because I hate them

I think Richard has just built that from posts on page 15, page 22 and page 40 of this thread.

Mixed bag for me, this series. The last episode was great but at the same time, that mock-up car chase for the remake of The Sweeney a few weeks ago was a total cringe-fest.

'I dont use up my parents bandwidth to illegally download this show and then watch it over and over again for nothing. I do it because Top Gear is one of the most popular TV shows ever made and because I hate it. Come on BBC, I dont pay my licence fee to watch this crap. I dont pay my licence fee at all, but if I did I would write even more stuff on the internet about how much Top Gear needs to change because I hate it. Make the show that its fans want to see. And dont make it like Top Gear. I hate Top Gear.'

Would an email help bump an application up? Dear Top Gear, I'm on holiday & was wondering if I've got a ticket to be in your audience?
