Suits - on Dave
Discussion
Seemed a reasonable way to bring the season to a close on all fronts and completely close out certain characters storylines (mainly Jessica but obviously Mike) whilst opening the way for new ones (Louis / Donna / Mike and how will his relationship work with the clinic going forward).
At least next season we should finally get back to seeing some lawyering in court rather than all the behind the scenes dealing, backstabbing, etc

I'm not sure how it'll work given that one of the major premises of the show has changed completely.
TBH I really like the show but the main premise (Mike) was the most annoying bit about it, for me. The truth is, I'm looking forward to them getting on to some good goddammed lawyering. I always wondered how and when Mike was going to become a laywer and this way sort of leaves me a bit hollow. It will be interesting to see how they deal with things now without the whole mike isn't a lawyer risk.
Jessica coming back to save the day was a great twist although i did wonder whether at some point mike would go and work for her outside New York. Would have left us open for a big Mike vs Harvey case.

As I haven;t seen the second half of the series that's a bit of a spoiler there sir! Jessica coming back to save the day was a great twist although i did wonder whether at some point mike would go and work for her outside New York. Would have left us open for a big Mike vs Harvey case.
Although as the show she left Suits to make got cancelled, not entirely surprising...
I would imagine we might see a lot of Mike handwringing and arguing with Harvey who then in turn argues with Lewis over it when Mike takes an important case for the clinic and it interferes with a massive case for PSL and virtually a whole series centering on this conflict of interest. Of course, as always, Harvey will win in the end but like previous series we'll see a lot of fallings out and twists and turns along the way, which is when Suits is at its best.
Hopefully too we've seen the last of the Donna voice thing rubbish. That was a stupid side bar seemingly only in there to knock her down a peg or two after building her up to ridiculous levels of being able to fix anything or find anything out at the drop of a hat - the backers discussing how they only met her as a favour to Harvey and Lewis not being able to find a way to get the product launched without a huge law suit was quite cruel really.
But whatever, next season can't come soon enough for me.

Antony, I think you could be right with that being the ongoing issue between the lead characters next season. I would say particularly between Louis & Mike, because once again Mike's secret has caused serious problems for him once again. Especially this time round when it appeared he'd finally found what seemed like his own true happiness, only for it to be torn away as a direct result of Mike
Although the "Donna" device was a bit of a weird sub plotline, I think it was aimed as a bit of a low level piss take over all the current Apple, Google, Amazon, etc, devices, but at the same time it was also a good way of showing that Donna isn't infallible as has always been made out and has lost her edge.
Overall though, given everything that has happened over the seasons, I actually feel sorry for Louis now

Me too, he always seems to get the stty life draws and I hope next season they cheer him up a bit. Have a horrible feeling that he'll end up doing himself in! He's a great character, I hope they have a happy story-line for him. Sadly I've had enough of Donna, she was awesome but it's been played on too much this season. I felt for her when she overheard the comments but overall I've had enough for this season. Shame to lose her, it felt like she was moving on didn't it.Felt like a season finale for me, I was only surprised that it was EP16 - didn't seem like a season ending number.....until I looked it up and every other season bar the first had 16 episodes too! New season starts in the summer so not long to wait.
