Can't get used to having Suits on Sunday Nights now!

So just a polite reminder to everyone that it's tonight smile

I thought it was pretty poor. Lots of self pity, blaming each other etc. Thought the whole lets get stoned and figure it out was lame and the obvious cellmate story could have been better, a lot better. I didn't think Mike and Rachel could be more annoying until last night either. It seemed like it was one of those mid season episodes where they churn out a flashback/reminiscing episode rather than a gripping start to the new series. Even the awesome Donna wasn't herself last night.

Will watch of course, hoping it improves next week.
The 'Goddamn' count was very high in that episode!

I've seen Suits since the beginning but the whole walking into the office, to add important information to a conversation that you clearly couldn't hear from outside is getting a bit boring.

It's all Donna seems to do

Having watched the first two episodes of the current series I'm seriously hoping this current storyline doesn't drag through all 20-odd (or however many make up a series these days) episodes, it's already tedious and winding me up. The early series were cool, sharp, snappy and full of quick and slick one liners but this series is all woe is me and whiny navel gazing.

Mike and Rachel are the worst, with her constantly demanding this and that and him continually thinking he'll be able to sort everything out by being shouty with everyone - I genuinely hope he gets a proper serious kicking inside to shut the twerp up for a bit. Harvey's turned into Mike's dad and all of a sudden has deep feelings for everything and everyone, Donna swishes in, declares wise words then struts off waving her hair like a shampoo commercial, Jessica's expressions are either furrowed brow or quivering jelly and even Lewis has lost his pain in the arse wind everyone up attitude for the greater good of everyone.

Can we have the old Suits back please?

Feels like Mike has forgotten he's a smart lawyer type, and has reverted to his street based roots now he's locked up - he should be out-thinking his opponents, not trying to beat them with a full on confrontation...

For my money, I'm expecting him to remember he knows the law backwards, and will likely end up helping his cell mate out with an appeal or something. Possibly going the Shawshank route, except with law rather than accountancy! biggrin

Yeah. Thought he looked familiar in episode 1 then clocked the name at the start of episode 2.

Got to agree how dumb Mike has become. Next to a copper in prison the inmates are going to hate a lawyer so a. you'd think he'd keep it quiet & b. trust no-one. At best I thought it was a guard trying to catch him out & set him up for a fall straight away especially with the phone, at worst someone he helped put away (or Harvey did).

Ok, i've happened to see the 3rd episode, all those worried - don't be! It's pretty refreshing, and really hope we see more of the new characters. Louis is on top form with a scene that will probably go down on a par with that Tom Cruise phone call in Tropic Thunder

Not going to lie to you, I've stayed in hotels less clean and shiny than this so-called 'prison' hehe

Back to form tonight, Lewis probably at his funniest, Harvey back to his slickest, Mike not quite so deserving of a smack in the gob, Jessica forgoing a quivering lip throughout and even Rachel not whining once. Things are looking up!

Nope, they won't miraculously get back to being a leading law firm with a great reputation and loads of staff, ever. Its done, this is like the death throes of the series, fighting to survive when, really, they know its all over. Originally they were super slick and super confident and successful. Why they aren't all giving themselves a good kicking for the Mike situation is beyond me. I used to love this show and I've never watched a legal type series before, but now, sadly, its done. Can you ever really see them getting back to where they were? Mike will never be able to practice law and even if he does qualify properly its years away. Still, I'd keep Rachel 'warm' whilst he's in the nick wink (And, OMG, Donna!!)

Well, that worked out quite well I thought.

And was that mud really, really cold, or just a seam in an unfortunate place?

Yeah quite a satisfying end to the prison saga which I was getting a bit bored of anyway.

Wonder where they'll take it now.

Love suits!

Last episode I thought was the end of series... All tied up quite nicely with non of the usual monumental cliff hangars. Looking forward to see what happens next.

Yeah, a good ending for the mid season hiatus and also dealing with Gina Torres departure from the series. She'll be missed going forward as she's a great actress.

As a further update, the show producers have said the show will return to the schedules around mid January '17 in the USA.

What a satisfying episode. Still love this show.

Not wishing it away but that could have been a good ending to the whole show. It tied up lots but left lots open to interpretation.

Not happy about Jessica leaving, it won't be the same just as it wouldn't if Harvey or Lewis left. Shame it all seemed a bit hurried after Mike got out of prison, they could have played the running around trying to save the firm out a lot longer.

So anyway, was last night's the last episode of series six or is series six b starting soon or seven later?
