Suits - on Dave
Discussion
The speed of the Netflix deal & announcement tends to suggest the plan / intention going forward was always to market it direct to them for exclusive broadcast in the UK anyway. So it's no surprise that UKTV announced they were dropping the show, as I doubt even delayed subsidiary rights would have been affordable going forward.
Shame in some respects as I doubt another channel will pick up the subsidiary rights, even delayed For those of us with crappy internet infrastructure, despite living in a decent area of the UK, I guess i'll have to resort to hoping for a R2 DVD release or import the R1 when it comes out.

Enjoyed that, only negative for me was my other half screaming "thats not Donna" at the TV
And where the fk does a secretary pull half a million dollars from?
Dont forget Harvey has been supplementing her salary and there was a whole bit about it.And where the fk does a secretary pull half a million dollars from?
In a previous episode when Lewis found out how much it was, he thought someone added an extra zero by accident. So assuming a good legal secretary is on like $50k? That would mean she was on $500k?
Could have just been a silly story arc meant to be forgotten but still, she was still made out to be raking it in apparently.
Still love this show but a few things I've noticed (and many others) over the years that I now can't not notice. For example:
-People getting fired but then the door is left wide open for a return whenever they choose/have some leverage
-Two people talking in a room, cue someone walking in at the very end of the conversation and they are fully up to speed and immediately launch their own commentary on said conversation
-Everyone being like Teflon...Mike and Donna especially. Don't get me wrong, it would be boring visiting Mike/Donna et al., in jail for seven series but everyone involved in the firm seems to have Teflon in their veins
-The 'lightbulb' moment in each episode where somebody works it all out
-The number of times "We're done" has been said over seven series (usually followed the next episode with those involved working together
-The ability to look at the first page of a folder full of papers (usually a subpoena) and dismiss it within 0.1 seconds. Again, I don't want 10 minutes of footage watching our hero read the thing but it's grinding my gears!

I'm beginning to hate that in all series and movies: the ability of people to make split second, fast, quippy, witty, accurate, detailed, long, accurate, word-perfect sentences and responses without the slightest pause or mistake. Again and again.....nothing like normal conversation in the slightest.-People getting fired but then the door is left wide open for a return whenever they choose/have some leverage
