Suits - on Dave
Discussion
Latest episode: still lots of shouting and making up. All very formulaic.
I'm not missing Mike or Princess Rachel, but I'm really struggling with the new characters they've brought in and I'm even finding Louis hard to take at the moment.
Hopefully they're just finding there feet after such an upheaval, but episodes are starting to drag a bit now.
Thank god for Donna!!

All I want in the latest series is for Lewis (and everyone really) to stop sabotaging themselves by keeping unnecessary secrets. They’re supposed to be smart people, but sadly the writers seem determined to tie themselves in knots to create situations that could be easily avoided. I know it’s only TV and isn’t supposed to be believable, but I’ve really been struggling to go along with some of the plot points this season!

I’m halfway through Season 7, and stopped watching it for a while. I really liked the show but it started to seem like every episode was a repeat of itself. I’ll finish the season, but after reading some of the comments I might give Season 8 a miss.
I’m on 3 or 4 now of season 7; I’m enjoying it. i don’t normally like flashback things but this is explaining quite a few things very well and makes a pleasant change.I'm still enjoying S7, although the showings on Paramount are a bit annoying - missed out last week completely for no reason I could establish, then it's moving to 22.55 from next Tuesday.
I'm glad I don't work in corporate America though, having seen S7E13 last night. Main partner's girlfriend doesn't trust him with his secretary who is now COO, so she tells him to fire her, and he's about to but doesn't, so she figures it out and resigns anyway. Then he dumps the girlfriend (who was a bit annoying tbh) and gets Donna back. Is that really how it works in the US, in a firm of people who, even by American standards, are quite litigious?

I noticed the Paramount channel started showing it from S1E1 recently, and I'm hoping that means they are gearing up to show series 8 any time soon.
I'm disappointed that it is finishing, but without the one thing that made it different, it was always going to be hard work to keep up. Now I just need Paramount to show S8 and S9, so I can complete it.

Heck. I only noticed last night that the Paramount channel is showing S8. Last night was episode 4, so I've got to hang about now until they re-show from episode 1. Great.ETA - oh wait, actually I might have seen series 8. Not sure now, some of the summaries in IMDB are quite familiar.
EATA - no, it premiered on Paramount on July 31st. Oh well, I'll just wait for it to re-start.
