Well it’s finished.

Disappointing IMO. They crammed everything into the very last episode!
Not watched it yet but got the feeling they were going to.

The last couple have been a bit crammed.
It’s actually insane the more I think about it!

And

whilst I know they obviously had an issue with Rachel, her not being at Harvey’s Mums Funeral, Louis’ Wedding or Harvey/Donnas wedding even though mike was was just wierd. She wasn’t mentioned even so there was an excuse - I guess the easiest way to deal with it. But but at the end Harvey and Donna are moving to Seattle to work with Mike and Rachel so they did mention her!

Sad in a way that's it's finished but it was time. One of THE most enjoyable TV series I've watched. I was a fan from the first episode and have enjoyed the journey but all good things come to an end. It was quite a crammed last episode but still an honerable way for it to bow out.

I don’t think there’s much else they could’ve done, so relatively well handled.
In terms of actual US law firms, is it common to have regular named partner changes? Pearson Hardman seems a very long time ago!

I agree with everyone else, it all did seem a bit crammed in at the end.
At least in this last series the scriptwriters stopped using 'goddam' every other word and moved on to using the 'F' word.

I'm sad it's over. There have been ups and downs in quality, but generally the writing has been superb, and every character has been through a long arc.

Reckon there could be a spin off with Jessica or even Mike & Harvey? move it on a few years later and write Rachel out of it?

There is going to be a spin-off with Jessica called "Pearson".

Going to be? Season 1 has already broadcast in the US. smile 10 episodes - no idea if it’s any good or not.

Has it? Ooh.

Although Jessica was never one of my favourite characters. I'd watch a spin-off with Louis, obviously.

I don't believe it's law focused as such though

Took me a while to realise that Faye is Tasha Yar from Star Trek The Next Generation.

Meanwhile, I'm still struggling with recording S8 from Paramount. First of all I didn't notice the new series, so I started recording at ep 4 and can't really start watching until they get to the end and show it again from the start. And then, both my recorders are getting confused with the series link, sometimes recording both the Wednesday first showing and the Friday repeat, and sometimes neither. And the Sony recorder is a little short on space, so that tends to only record both when doing so will fill the disk and then miss the next one.

I'm sure it's probably less good now the USP has changed, but I feel as if I should watch to the end just for completeness. Similar to "Scorpion", which I frequently missed towards the end because they started showing it at random early times on Saturday. I knew it wasn't as good as it had started, but I still want to see it through to the end. CBS Justice are showing it, and my recorder seems to be a bit choosy about which ones it records.

Just watched the final 2 episodes I sure see what every one's on about being rushed. At least the show had an ending rather than leaving anything hanging.

That reminds me I must get around to watching the penultimate series recorded off Paramount, in case they show the final series any time soon. Weird - prior to Mike leaving I'd have watched this straight away, now I have struggled to start on it and have been watching almost anything - Grand Designs Australia and re-runs on "In Deep" - before it.

Great, I'm about to put dinner in the oven.

Seriously tho, I don't think I could enjoy it again knowing how crap it got.
