A longer length version of this cropped up on YouTube the other day, cannot find it now but for an advert I really liked it.

That is pretty damn good smile

As this thread has popped up I'll nominate the current Renault Clio one.

- Uses an unmolested music track by the original artist.
- Shows the actual product repeatedly.
- Shows the related products in all forms, in an unironic way.

Basically a proper advert without falling onto any of the more recent tired ideas that the industry seems to like.

Just wish I could find the longer version (around 4 minutes), must have cost a lot to produce with hiring Goodwood etc.

There's a couple I've seen recently that I think are excellent:

The very Flat Eric Marmite ad which may not be for everyone.

Samuel L. Jackson as Johnny Warburton advert is beyond incredible.

To be able to witness their pitch meetings...

I liked this one for French supermarket Intermarche, and a packed lunch thief.

I agree wholeheartedly, greatly hear that song again and Renault’s nod to its history isa nice touch too.

I quite like the Uber Reserve ads, particularly the Groomsmen one.

The one with Erasure's "Oh l'amour"? I fking HATE that, it's given me a permanent earworm and I hope Renault goes bust. s.

I'm not usually a fan of Christmas ads, but I quite like the new Asda one with Micky Bubble. biggrin

The current Xmas one for Shelter with the young girl and her mum.

The topic isn't great but the message is definitely hard hitting and as an advert it's very well done.

I've just seen the Amazon ad with 3 old ladies on sledges. A bit sentimental but good fun.

I bet it makes a lot of people think about the old days, hopefully with a smile.

Those are haemorrhoid cushions and they are using them back to front! Just arsing about as it were.

My favourite recently is the Teletext McDonalds ad.
