Agreed. Found the first two episodes really interesting. See more action than in the Ross Kemp series.

Quite raw isn't it, compared to the Ross Kemp series. Better for it, but poor guy.

Tragic isnt the word. Makes me so fking sick that people like that fine gentleman has had his life ruined for a worthless cause. A medal isn't enough for these guys. Not even close.

Hopefully he will recover, seemed pretty switched on and new the odds were against him. Cracking program so far, crazy profession to choose but they seem to love it.

Really sad to see the lad at the end in a bad way - hopefully he's on the mend and he will be on my mind today.

Good to see that gunship smashing the Taliban though.

Excellent documentary.

Chris Terrill (the film maker) also made a documentary of him training with the RM and has a book about it, both great. Fitness-wise he is a machine for his age!

Great program.
You can see the relief when the foot patrols return back.

Those IEDs are really evil things. Doesn't even have to be the first person to stand on it. Could be the 3rd, 4th, 5th,....person.

You can also tell that they are all really fit and confident lads. Quite happy to take anything on.

It was quite odd how everyone they spoke to had real west country accents, i live close to 40 commando and you hear a wide variety of accents here, some even from as far north as Bristol!

He completed the whole commando course, was fitter than a lot of the lads too.

Runs ultra-marathons in his free time IIRC...

Agree with everything everyone has said.

Truly awful ending to what is proving to be an outstanding series...much grittier than the Ross Kemp programs.

Wish him a speedy recovery.

These boys are braver than I could ever be.
