I have to say that in my opinion any film with Adam Sandler in it is likely to be as funny as a baby sea lion cull.
Of all his attempts at comedy I have struggled all morning to conjure but one that made me titter, let alone laugh. I can’t help thinking he would be better suited to straight roles. (Prepares to be flamed By Sandler fans – if there is such a fan!)

Who turns you off?

I'd agree with you, and add Rob Schneider to that list...

Tom Cruise - although he is very good in Collateral but I think that is more to do with the director.

Shia Le Bouf - what a tosser

On Adam Sandler - when I was a teenager I thought Happy Gilmore was the funniest film ever made, i watched it again recently and it barely raised a smile so I am with you now on that one.

And Eddie Murphy (except as Donkey).

Jim Carey comes close - but he JUST scrapes by.

Don't mind Cruise. He's been too good in enough films to make me accept him (Born on the 4th of July/The Firm/Rain Man).

Mel Gibson- his face annoys me, Tom Cruise used to annoy by being shouty all the time but don't mind him so much as he's got older. Agree with Nicholas Cage- same confused look and delivery in every film.

Angelina Jolie- too odd-looking- don't get what all the fuss is about.

Lately I've gone off a lot of Hollywood films- I don't want to see unnatural-looking people with perfectly white teeth in everything.

Tom Hanks ruins things for me the most though- same nasally-voiced 'as American as Apple Pie' act in everything.

Off the top of my head; Shia Le Bouf, Matt Damon, Leo Decaprio, Daredevil (Matt Damon's mate), Denis Leary (laughably called an actor).
