Matthew McGonagal or whatever his name is... A face that needs punching if ever there was one!

Richard Gere's another, although I won't NOT watch a film with him in on principal as he's been in a few decent ones.

I can't agree on Tom Cruise, though - He does come over as a bit of a prat sometimes in interviews, but he's been in lots of good films and that can't ALL be luck!

Same with George Clooney - In far too many good films to discount.

I've never seen a film with Adam Sandler in it seems (checking IMDB), but that's because all the films he's been in look ste!

No, the thread is "Actors" biggrin

Jason Statham - A Z-movie actor if there ever was one.

Go on, stick him in there - he's earned it.

Leonardo DiCaprio - especially for ruining Blood Stone.

The caveat being that I have watched the bit in Titanic where Winslet lets go of his cold, dead hand and he sinks to Davey Jones' locker soo many times that I've worn a hole in my wife's copy. On blueray.

Clive Owen - more wooden than Sherwood Forest.

Jim Carey - a face that needs to be punched repeatedly.

Hugh Grant - same character every time and it got boring 20 years ago.

Blood Diamond? I thought his Dinny Orcha character was very well done.

Me too, in fact this was the film that made me stop disliking him as an actor.

Philip Seymour Hoffman - Pompous tt
Surprised to see an actors actor in here.
He is undoubtedly talented and probably deserves respect among his peers but I, as a non-actor, think he ranks alongside Peter Sessions in levels of up his own arse smugness and pompous tttiness.

Nic Cage, on the other hand, deserves no respect for his appalling acting but I do like most of his films.

Go figure.

I can't think of any. I have a terrible habit of watching a film no matter how bad it is. There are some I don't like but none that would put me off watching a film. My main gripe are big named actors playing the same role time and time again.

Ruined many a potentially good film.
