Missed opportunity or what.

Firstly they got that Dr Yan from the BBC's bang goes the theory... not the best choice really, I think he's kind of condenscending. Like he's deliberately dumbing st down and putting on a silly voice/accent and incredulous facial expressions for good measure. (like when you talk to babies in that stupid voice).

But secondly they decided to get a load of kids to do most of the presenting making it nigh on unwatchable.

Im guessing this was aimed at kids, but they had a great chance to really examine the Bloodhound SSC and discuss the design challenges instead of just regurgitating the simple physics guff you can find out in 3 seconds from wikipedia or demonstrated on youtube.

Oh yeah this was on yesterday at 4:00... AM. So I dont know who exactly was going to watch it.

Understand your frustrations. The programme was commissioned by the BBC for use in Primary schools, teachers record it, hence the 4am broadcast. The team aims to discuss 'harder' science online and in the BHTV episodes, there'll be loads more of these in the pipeline....
