That really was weird. Good, but weird.

Also, has Pan's Labyrinth been mentioned?

The Cell with Jennifer Lopez is fairly nightmareish where she enters the mind of a comatose serial killer.

One of the strangest I have seen is Mushishi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvTWwIO1BQE

A traveling mystical doctor, a "Bugmaster' passes through remote regions of Japan curing the ill effects of supernatural creatures, the Mushi, who spread plague.

...and if you haven't seen it yet OLDBOY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Gex2NXTuL4&fea...
An absolute classic, with a very strange plot. Jonathan Ross on Film 2004 review, rated it the best film he had watched this century !

Man Bites Dog
Gentlemen Broncos
City of Ember

Not suggesting that they are all good, just weird.

Altered States.

Not really a Ken Russell fan but I do like this.

Maybe I'd had too many glasses of wine, but I just didn't get Primer at all. frown

Sat down with all good intentions to concentrate on it, but it made no sense at all. When I read comparisons with Donny Darko on the cover that made me slightly dubious, as I just hated that and couldn't understand the hype at all.

But I'll view Primer again, stone cold sober and see how it pans out...

The song in it got in my head and I ended up waking up hearing it. Beautiful song but weird....

bubble boy is quite a strange film in a trippy light hearted way.

Saw that in the early days of VHS and it was one of the few films that really scared me.

Not sure I'd want to watch it again even after nearly 30 years or so.

Me either, it's stupidly confusing and almost a puzzle to work out.

For your next viewing I'd recommend trying to find a timeline map (a real one, not the joke one) and follow that while you're watching.

On his third viewing with a map one of my friends now claims to 'get' it. HTH. smile
