Thanks to the thread being resurrected I've just remembered three more 'London films' which are worth a punt - 'Secret Ceremony' from 1968 starring Liz Taylor, Robert Mitchum and Mia Farrow, a very odd film with a strong supernatural / psychological theme which was largely shot around Hampstead, Cricklewood and Kilburn, 'The Killing Of Sister George' starring Beryl Reid and Susannah York shot around North London in 1968 / 69 and 'Zee & Co' starring Liz Taylor, Susannah York and Michael Caine, shot in 1971 around the time that 'Get Carter' was on release. Most of this one takes place indoors but there are some good exterior views of old London. Caine is almost in parody mode but Taylor and York literally shine every time the camera is on them.

Someone mentioned the 1968 series 'Strange Report' a while back, although only sixteen episodes were made it's a very good series, beautifully shot with some great Hampstead and other N.London locations...

I think the Hospital is out in the sticks, somewhere near Radlett...

Wow! cool

Thought you might like a shuftie at those Vixen wink

I meant to add - 'The Killing Of Sister George' has a blink and you'll miss it appearance of a rare Stewart & Ardern Minisprint in one scene, it's on screen for all of two seconds, after several attempts I managed to do a quick screen grab...

I posted it on one of the Mini forums and the current owner got in touch to say he was restoring it.

Jean Luc Godard's Sympathy for The Devil, came out in 1968. It's a film featuring the Stones in the rehearsal studio and a mix of surreal short films mostly shot around London. One of films is set in a scrapyard.

The scrapyard is right next to river where the West London railway line crosses it between Imperial Wharf at Chelsea and Latchmere Junction, it's now the site of some posh flats. I drove past it again this morning taking a stone train from Wembley to Battersea wink
