Gadget Geeks: Build an F1 car tomorrow at 8pm
Discussion
Final got a round to watching this. Interesting but very little to do with F1. Yes the car was a lot rubbish and broke down. I do see a use for the ideas used to create this car. Every year Practical Performance Car hold a £1000 challenge.
All you need do is build a car for under £1000. The event has two parts a drag race and a handling course. A car lighten as Gadget Geeks did and fitted with uprated suspension £800 (cost of car and suspension parts) would do well at an event like this. I wonder if anyone will do this? It is a bit extreme and the car would not be usable any where else. Possible at track day, but that is a big possible.
