It's a shame the bloke who plays the male Holly took the huff, he is far better than the female one IMO.

I saw Norman Lovett doing standup a few years after he left the show. I don't think there was any acting needed to play to Holly, that character is just him. I thought Hatty Hayridge was just as good though.

He didn't, He had other commitments for the 3rd series so was recast by Hatty.

He returned in 8.

Yep, Robert Llewellyn has been tweeting about it for months. Literally on an hourly basis.

He's promised that it's going to be a return to form, he and the others all admit the Dave specials were rubbish.

So he's admitted the last BBC series was rubbish and now the Dave series were rubbish. Doesn't really bode well for the next shows.

Him and Danny John Jules both tweeted after reading the scripts for the first time saying it was back to being at it's best. Guess we'll have to wait and see though. I'm looking forward to it.

Awww, they do look old but being as the first episode was 24yrs ago, it's not surprising really!!

And DJJ aka The Cat is still in very good shape, he is doing ok
