Did anyone catch this last night?

Must admit, very underwhelmed - although it was the annoying 'comedian' that they put on (not Dara!) who managed to ruin the program... I reckon Dara would actually be able to make math funny, but whoever the no-mark was on yesterdays episode was just an epic failure.

Agreed, it didn't quite work but I'll probably watch the next episode to see if it improves.

Yeah David O'Doherty was not a great choice. I'm looking forward to the one with Alex Horne who is a pretty nerdy comedian (well has been on Countdown and did a standup show about Latin anyway). I think Andi Osho is also a guest which will be grating. I has got poential, depending on the guest.

I thought it was ok but would have had more of Marcus De-S explaining the maths and perhaps illustrating other applications of the same ideas rather than the banter.

It's a bit of an odd format, but I'm not complaining. When was the last time there was a programme that had someone actually doing maths on TV that wasn't aimed at idiots or on at 4am and part of an OU course?

Saw a bit of it today.

Unimpressed with their attempts to arrange four balls such that each was equidistant from the other. I thought 'tetrahedron' in about one second while they played about with lines and squares, totally missing the brief. Obviously you can't do it in two dimensions.

Turned over.

Agree the maths itself was a bit basic, hopefully it'll attract some folk who would otherwise be a bit intimidated by maths.

Not enough to hold my interest. I honestly fell asleep before the end!

Shame really as I was really looking forward to this.
