Monday night, bored, so about to go to see 21 jump st......alone! Wifey doesn't want to watch it, I just fancy a cinema trip!

Will staff laugh at me and call me lonely looser? Should I take a note pad and pretend I'm a critic!

No the staff wont laugh at you. I worked in a cinema years ago and plenty of people used to come on their own.

I go on my own to as the wife never wants to see what I want and I prefer going alone so you don't have your thick mates chatting all the way through.

Lots of people do it, esspecially when you are contracting away from home - better than a night in a b&b!

I've only done it once, and yes it did feel a bit strange from the norm - but at least I got to see the film I wanted.

Well I've done it! Now sat in an empty cinema waiting for headhunters to start. Jump st wasn't on in the fancy screen so I've gone for subtitled crime thriller with giant leather seats and lots of leg room.

Ive often wanted to head along on my own during the day when Im off work. Suspect it would be less awkward when its quiet!

At least we're not screwing up sweetie wrappers and farting the whole time.

Did it once, wouldn't do it again. Feels very lonely.

I'm enjoying this! 5 mins till movie starts, place still empty....reclined seat very comfy.... And phone signal to surf while I wait!

This may be a new hobby for me!

Having said that.....£8.25. Wtf, that's the price of a DVD!

Adverts. Still just me! Bit spooky, hope they don't lock me in tonight and forget I'm here! Though these seats are comfy as a bed!

Ohhhhh, Sony 4d screen, whatever that means. Nice and sharp though!

A couple of months ago, I went to see the 4k release of Jurassic Park and I was the only one there....and I loved it.

I guess most folk would wonder why JP was in the cinema and not bother going but as a movie geek, I just had to see it in 4k and in DTS-MA nerd
