I really enjoyed the whole series but can't help but feel a little disappointed we didn't really get a conclusion.

Will be interesting to see how they work the next series......

Series 3 starts filming in September for airing in Fall of 2015. Apparently we won't get closure on who shot G.

I was amazed at the way Saga handled the whole situation but I suppose that is what we expect from someone who lives for the job and also someone with an Asperger's type condition.

On IMDB there is one that has started in the US, assume that is a remake of this?

Is the original in English or subtitled?

It's subtitled, there is an American remake of the first series, don't know about a remake of the second.

There is also a British/French remake of the first but I didn't like it.

That was some great telly, characters you cared about, a clever storyline, without it being ridiculously convoluted.
I hope Salamander can fill the void.
The BBC should hang their heads in shame.

Anyone else think that maybe Martin didn't actually poison Jens directly? In that we know Jens was now feeling remourse, and that it is possible he would have taken the poison voluntarily when "offered it" by martin?

Back in May last year I posted a list of shows that BBC4 had acquired which included these that have since been shown, Borgan 3, Bridge 2, Inspector Montalbano, Young Montalbano.

The only 2 that I listed at the time that haven't been shown are Salamander and Inspector Da Luca.

I mean I have seen interviews with scriptwriters and they have stated that we won't find out who shot..... I am not saying too much as I don't want to start adding spoilers but suffice to say series 3 will be a different story just like Series 2 differed from series 1. Am I the only person who thought that I recognised the outline and face of the shooter?
