Is it just me that doesn't get the attraction behind Victoria Cohen? She's arrogant, unladylike, overly logically minded, a bit bland etc etc. Sort of like your annoying jokery mate, but with tits.

Kirsty Young on the other hand is a real minx!
I'll only be 22 next week, but if for some crazy reason Victoria Coren proposed to me tomorrow, I'd say yes in a heartbeat. She is perfect. smile

Especially if David went on one of his rants.
I can only imagine what their household will be like. One big massive orgy of cynicism and pedantry.

By all accounts Victoria Coren once worked for the Erotic Review, as a reviewer of porn movies. She is also a successful professional poker player. She is a razor sharp, rather interesting woman IMO.

Engaged to David Mitchell now !

Just watching the extended version.

I can see the attraction to either woman, to be honest!

Wish Kirsty'd been wearing the lower top...I wouldn't go near Victoria Coren.

I spent the entire show watching Kirsty's top jiggle rather suggestively.

I need to get out more.

Yes I noticed that! A soft fleshy wiggle like the unsupported breasts of a twenty year old... *sigh*

When Roy Hattersley cancelled at the last minute they replaced him with a tub of lard as the guest... that's an episode worth seeing!

Get the DVDs. The best episodes are Piers Morgan vs Ian Hislop and the un-edited argument between Paul Merton and Robert Killory Silk.

In the more recent series Andy Hamilton is always good as is Reginald D Hunter.

They sound good.

I think the host (best thing they did was binning Deayton) makes a bigger impact. My favourite is still Tom Baker, Brian Blessed and Shatner come close.biggrin

Hislop v Paula Yates was a good episode as was Caroline Quentin v Paul Merton (seemed a bit harsh at the time and shortly later was announced they were separating)

(and yes both Victoria Coren and Kirstie Young seriously float my boat)

Just watched it, they are both nice.biggrin

The best bit was Hislop talking about the Jubilee celebrations and shutting that big man up.biggrin

Enjoyed it but Victoria Cohen was just annoying IMHO, just found her rude and arrogant. I can imagine life in the Mitchell / Cohen household is hardly a barrel of laughs.

"Can you pass the salt Dear?"

"Yes I can"

"Sorry dear, I mean would you pass the salt"

"Yes Dear, if asked, I would pass the salt"

"Dear, pass me the salt please"

"Oh it's empty"

"ha ha ha ha ha"

And, I standby to be shot down, but Paul Merton, has he said more than an average of 2 things per episode in the last 2-3 years? He just seems to pull funny faces now, time for a change IMHO.

I agree about Paul Merton though. A shame because he used to be (probably still is) one of my favourite comedians. But he just does the same stuff now, very repetitive. He did go away for one series, I think another little holiday would be good for both the programme and Paul.

I think PM is still very good and wouldn't want him to go. Ian Hislop is a legend though, I love it when he takes a dislike to people and tears them apart. The one recently when they both picked on Clarkson was very good.

I think HIGNFY is worth the licence fee alone.
