Just found this thread..

Anyone still watching?

it's on C4 twice a day, which I record and still absolutely love, even though I have watched every episode at least 5 times. It is still absolute class- apart from Daphne's brother and mother (who really annoy me).

They are just showing Daphne's wedding and the aftermath..

I do, when I get the chance - Her brother is annoying, but is clearly all of the English stereotypes... One of my favourites is when Niles and Daphne host their first dinner party that ends with the bed coming through the ceiling.

And just how many dates has Frasier been on!

Also-and this might be an age thing- but I love the way women looked in the 90s.

Still enjoy watching them, the best ones are the ones before Niles and Daphne are a couple.

I still have boxed sets of 1-6 but not sat through them, after seeing most on C4 back in the day. Not watched in years - I remember the penultimate series with Daphne's rels and them being a couple not being great but I seem to remember the last season was much better again. The writing was top notch, the dialogue so sharp and clever. Niles was easily my favourite character by a country mile. Roz was utter filth hehe

A useless but vaguely interesting fact is that Jane Leeves (Daphne) was born in Ilford and received coaching on a Manchester accent from John Mahoney who was born in Blackpool but grew up in Manchester but who played Martin in the series.

I also believe she was one of Benny Hills "Hills Angels" (Worth a Google).

Considering that at times Frasier descends to farce, with people popping in and out of rooms at a rate that would do credit to Brian Rix, all it needsIis for Frasier to lose his trousers and a Hills Angels chase scene to complete the deal.

Not that there's anything wrong with farce.

Mind you Frasier is a hairy bugger isn't he? One day on Frasieronline chanced upon a thread which hinted it might be about Ros cleavage but instead turned into a decidedly gay discussion about whether they preferred Frasier or Niles' hairy chests etc. What has been read cannot be unread.
