almost constantly have it on, it's a great comfort programme too.

and Roz is mine, hands off.
So long as I can have Lilith, it's all good.

I'm frankly astounded that fans of Frasier don't even run to a single page on PH. I really can't think of a better sitcom and despite having seen every episode many, many times, I still laugh.

That said, I may not have seen every episode ever, however it's been at least three years since I've seen one that I haven't seen before. I still hope that there are a few yet to discover.

I think the Radio play episode where Frasier ends up doing most of the voices himself after pising off everyone else with his demands always has me trying and failing to breath. I'm smiling even thinking about it now. Niles taking the helium to sound like a lady. Classic.
"Chinese embassy on line one"...

My favourite is the episode where Martin's armchair "falls" off the balcony and is replaced for, ironically, the most expensive piece of furniture in the apartment smile

Even now, it's still sharp, cutting, witty and genuinely funny - far better than some of the nonsense that's pitched at us. Saying that, I actually prefer Frasier to The Big Bang Theory and I love that show...

Love the humour so much and have spent many an episode in tears and aching sides - genius!

The fencing scene below nearly killed me first time around:

I'm glad there's a few others who like it! biggrin

There are just too many moments to pick a favourite... We're currently on the episode where Daphne has just met Donny, and Niles takes Roz up to the cabin! hehe

Or the scene where he is ironing his trousers... We just saw that, too! Ridiculous.

The episode where Niles sleeps with Lilith. rofl

The funniest thing in this is the room service guy. If you've seen it you'll know what I mean.

"OK" rofl

However the very second Niles got together with Daphne it jumped the shark. Especially with the stupid fat camp storyline straight afterwards. frown

They had to cover her pregnancy and maternity leave. Would have been better if her and Niles had got together sooner and they'd spun a story along the lines of it being their baby.

Agreed. And its worth remembering that some of the other episodes unfortuntely degenerated into "Who's behind this door? Who's trousers are these?" cheap farce.

But another good one is when Fraiser and Roz get snowed in & nearly sleep together. Very touching and well done.

Would have been better had they never got together. Liked it at the time but seeing the repeats now I find every character annoying.

Oh come on, they had to get together!

I can still happily watch it over and over again, even with the farce elements it's still better than anything on TV now.

You know, I stopped watching it after the episode where Niles & Daphne ran away together from her wedding, figuring it couldnt possibly end better than that. Aparrently I was very wrong. ai should get the box set, I need some comedy right now. biggrin

One of the main writers was killed in the 9/11 attacks and the show's decline has been attributed to his passing.
