This, Top Gun, We Were Soldiers, The Cannonball Run, Bad Boys and Gladiator. I realise I gone slighty over just one but they're all great and there's still more with awesome openings

Just been on telly now. Don't know what all the fuss is about. Seems there's no such thing as an internet movie thread without a Goodfellas or Shawshank Redemption wkfest. Both, overated to fk.

Gladiator when crowe rallies the other gladiators to kill all the Romans on the chariots at the reenactment of the battle of Carthage - wonderful 10 minutes and leads into the 'husband of a murder wife, father to a murdered son...' line.

My favourite for demoing my home cinema. - along with first 5 minutes of top gun.

Cat asleep on surround sound bass speaker, Top Gun in the player, couple of minutes of great music then jet takes off, so does the cat. I think cat has a superior vertical climb rate to the F14!
