Person of Interest - Channel 5
Discussion
Same sh8t with 'Burn Notice' .. ended for a week than back on yesterday evening .. except i missed it
Think i still prefer Burn Notice. The hero in Person of Interest seems a bit flimsy at times - like when he gets disarmed by an East German agent in the last episode! Don't they train you in Special Ops to avoid walking right up to an enemy combatant.

Is Person of Interest on TV anywhere in the UK at the moment?
I watched the pilot and a couple of episodes on a plane recently and quite enjoyed it, I'd like to see some more, but not enough to bother getting a 'box set' and obviously illegal downloading would be out of the question.

Channel 5 have the UK rights, Season 2 is on this autumn some time, maybe they will repeat Season 1 before that?
Don't think it is showing on any channels right now and isn't on Five on Demand either.
I do recommend tracking it down though. And Season 2 is much more interesting than Season 1.

I got the 1st series on DVD, only £20 or so. Watch when I choose, with no commercials. Much better than fannying around fitting in with C5's scheduling malarkey!
I just got it for a fiver off eBay. I'd heard series 2 was even better, so I better crack through it before c5 show it!Thanks.

Assume some people are still watching this? Not sure why Channel 5 are rushing through two episodes at a time through Season 2 but worth seeing regardless.
Just finished watching Season 3; things have moved on a long way from the original format. Interesting plots, lots of twists and getting into proper dystopian sci-fi.

They're doing it with all their US stuff at the moment, including NCIS, Castle, Law & Order, as they need to clear them all from the schedule, to allow for an entire night of the utter ste that is Big Brother and all the ancillary shows that follow it with the various z list celebs discussing it, etc.I don't tend to watch much on 5 any more apart from the US stuff, but once POI has finished it's current run I doubt i'll be turning onto C5 for some time.
Dear J,
I was confused by the timing. Started off one ep per week. A break. Then at some point when it came back went to 2 eps per night. I've been missing every 2nd one till it clicked, doh!

Jet

Yes, this doubling up is a pain, though I never watch it live. Last week they listed the first one as "New: Person of Interest" in the EPG, and the second one only as "Person of Interest", though I think they were both new.
I find it entertaining, which is good, but although I'd probably recognise an episode if I'd seen it before, I couldn't really describe any of them. But it's very watchable.
