Person of Interest - Channel 5
Discussion
Update - The UK airing of Season 4 starts next week - Wednesday 24th February on C5.
Edit 16/02 - it appears for the first week there will be 2 episodes shown back to back from 10pm to midnight. I'm not sure whether this will continue for future weeks or revert back to single episodes for the rest of the run.

Thanks for the update, will have to look out for it. I was reading somewhere that it's not being continued after the current US series, not sure if that's this one, or another one.
They've only been given 12 or 13 episodes for this season so it's not looking good. Additionally season 5 should already have started but it's been put back to June.It might be picked up by another network but JJ Abrams and Christopher Nolan are supposed to be working on Westworld - but that too been delayed.

At Last!! Just started watching 1st episode of series 4 on recorded series link, realised we had already watched it!!
CBS aren't saying it but Nolan is stating it's the last season unfortunately. Truncated season as well, it's 13 episodes and it will be running Monday and Tuesday starting on May 3 to accommodate the "odd" episode.telecat said:

"Person of Interest" will end with the upcoming season 5 after CBC announced the show's cancellation.
According to Los Angeles Times, CBS announced last week the lineup of shows that will be renewed for the following years; however, the science fiction crime drama did not make it to the cut. The 13-episode fifth season of "Person of Interest" will premiere on May 3, but it will be show's and creator Jonathan Nolan's final season. CBS previously announced that "Person of Interest" would be airing two episodes on May 9 at 10pm until the season 5 finale. They felt the original plan was better than airing single episodes as it would potentially hype and tease fans for a sixth season which was unlikely to happen.
Nolan and executive producer Greg Plageman said in a press statement that the team behind the show is excited to share to the fans and viewers the final season of the series. They added, "This subversive little paranoia-inducing cyberpunk-thriller is for you and would not have been possible without your support. As life has come to imitate 'Person of Interest,' it's been our great privilege to work on the show for the past five seasons. We can't wait for you to experience this thrilling and final chapter."
The show being axed has been rumored for quite some time now, and CBS seems to run out of interest in "Person of Interest." Previous reports have already hinted the show's eventual final bow. According to TV Series Finale, two months before the announcement of cancellation, "Star Wars" director and the show's executive producer J.J. Abrams has expressed that the team was planning the upcoming season as if it were the finale.
Abrams predicted the fate of the show will end in season 5. He added, "The only heartbreak there is how much good story there was to come if it were to have continued."
Good news is, the show will see a familiar face starting May 3 because Sarah Shahi will reprise her role as Sameen Shaw. TV Line reported that Shahi's character worked as the wheelman of the gang. Despite fans' expectations for her to be a mainstay, she left the show because she took a maternity leave.

Well Channel 5 did their usual thing of showing this late and 2 episodes at a time so I suspect it didn't get the exposure it deserved. Shame as there are some great episodes and I really liked the simulation one.
On the plus side season 5 is now available to watch and as dark and dystopian as ever.
