Not at all. I certainly do - though I prefer Amy Pond much more attractive than Karen Gillan. When I've seen Gillan interviewed she's quite annoying. I'll take Pond any day of the week - in the naughty policewoman outfit please...

I enjoyed the cube and space dinosaur episodes much more than the angels one, mostly due to Mark Williams, it must be said. The Angels thing just seemed scary for the sake of it. As for plot holes, it's Red Dwarf X tomorrow, and that'll doubtless be full of them!

I watched Blink again lastnight (New DW series 1-4 is on Netflix), it was good, and does explain what the Angels do well for their first showing. It works as a standalone programme too, it was one of those episodes that didn't have much Doctor in it, probably from doubling up on filming different episodes at the same time.
Loved the concept of that story, loved the tense atmosphere- and most epecially I enjoyed Carey Mulligan's performance (fresh from the Beeb's adaptation of Bleak House).

What I couldn't bear however, was that predatory detective. In reality, would a serving officer not be castigated for (so desperately) trying to pull someone who has gone to a police station to seek help?

Hey- ho, it's fiction but I hated his presumptive attitude..

I still think Sally Sparrow would make a fantastic assistant - unfortunately, she's now gone off and done other things, won BAFTAs etc, so they probably wouldn't get her now. Shame!

First episode with Matt Smith as the Doc was on Watch this morning. Recorded and now watching it.

Amy Pond in her police uniform, awesome.

Turns out Brian did get remembered by Moffat & Rory did get his big ending scene. They just didn't film it.

That should be filmed, although historically Dr Who has just left the companion and carried on, newWho has been different, and without being RTD and revisiting a revisit, a little nod to side characters is a welcome change (Remember how popular Wilf was?)

Never liked the character and always think he was an afterthought that appeared way too late in the scheme of things.

I think Brian should have his own spin-off series. I've even thought of a title, 'The Life of Brian.' No? Oh suit yourselves....
