Louis was probably told to jazz it up but I think he cracked up - not the first time.
If he really wanted to make it dramatic he could have done it in a way that didnt make him look so stupid.

I'm not one for conspiracies but he had no idea who he was meant to save.
Made his decision which Dermot then questioned, to then have to declare "I want to take it to deadlock"

I completely understand that this is a commercial venture, so it's not always going to be the best singers that go through. However, until last night I thought the producers of x-factor this year had managed to introduce some acts (country, songwriter, almost alternative, etc) that would make this season a little more interesting... only to be have the possibility of delivering something half decent at xmas ruined by that t**t Louis and the public voters on the first night

I gather they voted Carolynne off then. When she was in the last two with that prick the wife said there was no way they could choose him over her. Of course, there's no musical nor ethical dilemma for these t ts, so I didn't bother watching them drag it out.

Lets face it, she wasn't going to win and neither is he.
Big deal. It's only TV folks.

the o/h watches this and I sort of grunt an interest whilst flicking through ebay looking at bikes or on ph.
We watched take me out first on saturday but on delay and I watched the F1 whilst it was recording. I was lucky if I got 15 minutes on the pc last night by the time she had fast forwarded through all the adverts and guff. Even watching all the "acts"
Why the hell dont they have the results on a Saturday night its just a farce with it being on the sunday. No wonder viewing figures are down.

Im getting to the stage now where I just watch things ive recorded so I dont get ads. Especially films your sat on the edge of your seat wondering whats going to happen, ad. But that is no where near as bad as xfactor. It is mind blowing just how little of a show there is.

We always watch anything shown on ITV or ITV2 on our PVR. The2.5hr XF show on saturday was about an hour long when you take out the ads, the lead-up VTs etc. Just acts singing, and judges comments, that's it.
Oh, and Dermot doing it Gangnam style with a totally straight face - genius.

Not a single one. I don't even know when a lot of the programmes I watch are actually broadcast, or even what channel - they're all plussed for when I want them.

I saw the bloke creep up on louis and I thought - you are being told what to say...
louis then clearly said "I want to keep Carolyn" which she heard judging by her reaction then he flaked str8 away...
travesty - she was top totty too, and could sing.
jahmene - no way is he a good singer... too shouty and screamy...
ruined Imagine totally ruined it...

Sir Bagalot said: Why on earth would they send him home? He has got far more press than pretty much anyone else in XF this week, and that's what it's all about. Exactly this .... The show is NOT a talent contest, it IS a ratings tool Its all about doing anything to get as many viewers/press as possible.... Look at us discussing what happened ..... I understand its all over twitter too Every shocked/disgusted viewer will be watching next week and more will get swept up.... As soon as people realise the above this type of programme will cease to be ..... then hopefully all this celebrity culture ' I just wanna be famous ' attitude will die
