Oh well, that's that for another year.

James sprays when he sings, grates on me.

I think a well deserved winner, consistantly good every week.
Doubt I would buy anything from him but will see how he does.

I also think he'll be successful. He's very 'now'.

The original is Shontelle, never heard of her or the song before. Possibly because Rihanna has already been invented.

 A quick google and a girl group act called Fifth Harmony (used to be called Lylas) did it on American X Factor.

Just watching the Rod Xmas thing. Now forgetting the actual content, the sound quality and mix was utterly awful on xfactor.

Absolutely terrible.

I know it was in an arena rather than studio, but still.. Should have been better.

When the Beatles song wailed out, I thought that was it. There's something so anthemic about that song that I thought it had to be the winner, but James' song was so much better. Who's to know what the future is for both of them, but I think that both will be around for a long time. I can see the septics really taking to the clean cut apple pie image of Jarmaine and James having a mean and moody career as the 'alternative' Brit.

Both seem so genuinely happy for each other and In that respect, it was very pleasing to watch.
