I love this hole marker - so simple.
Debs is bang on the money with it being too expensive at a tenner - at half the price am sure it would do well.
I've managed for two decades to mark the location for holes on walls with a pencil, sharpie or similar, a bradawl, or simply offering up the drill with a pilot bit straight through the item I want to mount. What am I missing?Debs is bang on the money with it being too expensive at a tenner - at half the price am sure it would do well.

Found it on Amazon, there's absolutely no reviews of it, and only one review on Wickes, so they aren't selling enough to get their crazy £100,000 back any time soon.
What did they want Debs' money for anyway, why don't they have to say any more what they are planning to do with the investment once secured. Marketing? Hiring a salesman? Developing a version with blue chalk instead of green? She won't let them just pay that money to themselves and run off. They're already in Wickes and Amazon (at £12 mind!), unless they get it in Screwfix they're finished.

As have I but, on uneven surfaces it can be a struggle to get the perfect position - holding up and drilling whatever one wants to affix also takes time(making sure it is level, ETC) whereas a quick squirt and it's done in short order. wjwren said:
yes agree this would be ideal on a rough brick surface BUT ive managed all these years by marking it with a smaller drill bit so I wouldn't spend £10 on one of these. Did he say how long these would last?
Can't be sure but thought I see a larger container which I assumed was for topping up the thingamajig on the display stand.I agree with you in not wanting to be paying £10 for it - £5 would be about right, IMO.

I don't know why the concern for use out in the third-world with cross contamination when it would be the same for a tap.
That spa tap struck me as a solution for a problem that doesn't really exist - I speak as a camper/festival go-er who gets by with minimal water supply. As a very keen DIY'er over the last 30 years I thought this was excellent idea with maybe 2 caveats:
Price - needed to be much nearer to a few quid
Size - the shape might be awkward in some locations
Otherwise a great idea. Many times I've spent trying to find a pen or pencil with a narrow and long enough tip to get through a screw hole, then having to find a drill to poke through and try and mark the surface behind, then finding the surface either won't take a mark or is so uneven the drill/pen tip gets deflected etc...
Thought it a very neat solution, assuming it doesn't go 'off' or clog if you leave it in your tool box for a few months/years.

I've eaten in the Birmingham / Shirley branch or Perios.
Really good chicken.
Shame he couldn't sell the business.
What's the USP though? Just came across as a pound shop nandos. Even down to the packaging. Really good chicken.

Not sure what the attraction was with the coconut stuff - surely it's a bit flash in the pan?
I'm astounded they didn't go with Peter Jones, though - surely, if you want to get a food product out there, you can't turn down the influence of the man who brought us the Levi Roots range?
He wasn't impressed, so I'm fully expecting a range of Levi Roots coconut based products to be released within the next 12 months

Foam Aroma!!! They've drilled a hole in a coffee cup lid, FFS!
Isn't one of the factors in hot beverage lids the idea that it doesn't easily drip? All the patents on shape and roundness of apertures is worth diddly if it drips hot coffee on your nice clothes/seats.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
