There is a logic many don't seem to get when going into the Den.

50% of 10m is 5m, 100% of f**k all is not much.....
Exactly she said then her 1st year profit was zero she didn't want to give a dragon 40% of zero! She thought 15% for £60k was better. Bonkers!

Turned over to see a guy I know (Chris with the games studio). Works just round the corner from me and often see him out and about in Canterbury.

Daddy's mine is in Sierra Leone, I wonder if Deborah is looking for HASMAT suit manufacturers to invest in?

No mention of Rawlplug - the biggest name in plastic hole fillers, nor Fischer who are No. 1 in fixings - either would be a bet for licensing or, more probably, already offer a product that does the same job.

At least he learned a lesson in preparing the demo wall - use better quality plasterboard in future.

I thought the vase/card idea was very good - could easily see that becoming big (novelty value in arriving with flowers and vase together, plus added personalised message).

That was stupid. Peter Jones going on about the dangers of this happening in your home - it's a demonstration! Why would you have radiators mounted on plasterboard in your own home? All of ours are on solid brick walls.

My knowledge is far from comprehensive, but, in the UK the latest building regs (Part L ??) require better insulation and this is hard to achieve with trad masonary walls, which are too costly as well. So hollow walls it is and hello to dodgy fixings (in some places there are instructions to homeowners not to fix anything to the walls...).

What I'd like to see on DD is a robotic brick layer. One of the few jobs not yet 'automated' and yet it requires monotonous tedium with precisely mixed adhesives, and could work 24/7 in all weathers. I'm offering 3% equity for an initial investment of 423 billion pounds. Should be on the market before the Sun explodes and consumes our universe.

Radiators are not fixed to the plasterboard, they use longer screws and go through to the solid block, if the house is timber frame they put wood noggins in where radiators/kitchen units etc will be fixed.
