"campers who will be away from mainstream charging facilities/car chargers for an extended time, but are stil lable t ocarry enough gas canisters to keep this thing going"

If you can carry gas cannisters around you can carry small battery packs as well - I think its a good idea that has no customers or not enough to ever get the investment back.

...or a small solar charger for the price of a couple of pints will suffice.

I liked the waterproofing liquid and think I've seen it for £9.99 on Amazon. Does anyone remember if it was called liquiproof? I think I recognised the packaging from the show but wasn't sure of the name.

Lots of haggling going here - I must say this chap is very good with his pitch.

ETA: It also helps having a good product. Well done to Ben for getting the loot.

Nearly £4 for a medium-size pot of fancy beans. Very limited market, I'd say. The young fella's good though - pity his product isn't as good as he thinks it is. Beans are for students. A tasty snack for the lazy and/or impecunious.

Idiots, 30% was the right deal!

I've had a look at their website and most of it is offline so I guess things aren't working out well for them which is a shame.

I'd have bought it to be able to have a play but it appears no go for the moment.

You don't think perhaps it's just had a wobble after a massive hit for no particular reason?

Possibly but all of the forum answers are down as well.

I'll try again later.

Not so clever they have 19 sets at the Amazon FC as at 9.15 - they should have stocked up!

I bet Sarah Willingham feels a chump for dropping out early from the baked bean pitch.

Seeing as all the others were well up for it.

As said above, expensive for a snack though.

£4 for about half the beans you'd get in a normal tin?

The market for that must be tiny. Were you supposed to eat them cold on the move? Because if you need to heat them then why not just get a normal tin?

I can't see why they got excited about it at all.

Like many here I can't see the appeal by the beans for £4

I would guess the main consumers of beans are:
1. Students / young people looking for an easy snack
2. Families cooking at home for kids: fish fingers, chips and beans, burgers and beans etc.
3. Cafes
4. Schools

None of these groups are going to splash out £4 on beans, even £2 is pushing it

A look at the website suggests they're only available in London. I'd guess that's where the market for £4 beans starts and finishes.
