Mike's just mentioned up to £80k for a restored one, but I doubt they make that much.

You can get them with the V8 supercharged unit fitted.

That would be quite nippy.

Sounds lovely on tickover, like a V8 with a lumpy cam smile

So why was that so cheap surely it should of been 10k with the work needed. So half way through and only unblocking a breather pipeand gaze the rest talking. Hope the 2nd half is 20 mins of working on the car.

I'd want to see the state of the plugs after a good run, and also do a compression test...just to make sure.

I know from whom I would buy a car. & it isn't the hooligans from last night....

Just get the impression that Mr China actually knows what he is doing & doesn't bodge things.

Well when he has built things like a road legal motorised bed then he knows what he doing. Haven't watched the other program but anything with bernie in it will be st.

I reckon one day Mike will turn up with some old shed, honk the horn & nothing. He'll pull open the shutter door & Edd will be sitting there with headphones on fiddling with his oily nuts.

CCR was utter ste. I hadn't seen anything with Bernie in it so no idea what his other programmes are like. However if I saw him approaching me I would do one. Quickly.

Just didn't like him at all.

WD is far better to watch.

Hehe...thought as much - still smoking like a goodun. Rings or stem seals need attention.

Not to excited on todays episode, mk2 Jag does nothing for me, very dull. And mechanical sympathy and Mike Brewer are mutually exclusive.

Did tonights car have straps holding the bonnet shut?

If so, is that a common thing with old Jags?

Makes 'em look sporty, a period version of go faster stripes on the lower side of Minis.
