More importantly - where was Paul? What has Phil the imposter done with him? And has Phil got a swanky number plate on his van like Paul does (did?). These are the questions that need answering!
Yes, that was a bit of twist in the plot. It has been Paul for year now, he should be OK he always seemed the strong silent type.Paul cone back!
Good episode. Think the sale was staged fairly well.

I just cant watch it anymore...
there was no huge clouds of smoke, no glass thrown to the floor, no paintwork was removed using a grinder, replacement parts werent found in excellent condition under a load of st in someones barn, no one lost their temper and ran around swearing or slamming the workshop door................... and the car they finished with was actually the same car that they started working on..
JUST WHAT KIND OF CAR ENTHUSIASTS PROGRAMME IS THIS??

If only they didn't think they would make a deadline and then they did that would be fantastic viewing.

Really enjoyed the episode. Almost as good as their Fiat 500.
Would love to see Ed take on a complete ground up restoration of an Alfa Junior or similar. Perhaps an off-shoot over three episodes.
Ed China comes across well on TV and to be honest he could easily carry a complete restoration series in the style of those done by Mark Evans (A Car is Born). Evans was good because he was an enthusiastic amateur and we could all share his pasion for getting it done, whereas Ed has good knowledge of metal work, mechanics and restoration and would, I believe move it up the next level of interest.Would love to see Ed take on a complete ground up restoration of an Alfa Junior or similar. Perhaps an off-shoot over three episodes.
