It has the feeling of a solution looking for a problem.
Exactly my thoughts,

They spent all their money on a new toy, and want to justify using it for something!

Bit worrying when the designers are not sure how the windows will be installed!!
I'm feeling benevolent, it's a prototype, the next one will have all the design issues ironed out, like building it under a ruddy great tarpaulin hehe

House design looks nice, but I can't help but feel that the noise of a cutting machine going inside a metal shipping container for days on end would piss of the neighbours.

They seam to be very lucky with the weather, i'm sure if it had raind for weeks on end the ply would have warped and all the measurements would have been way out.

Hmm, kind of contradicts the "we've got a high end house for a low-mid end price" comment.

Stunning design but just how long is a plywood house going to last?

An acre plot in Hertfordshire is never going to be cheap but, it is not an overly large property. Mind, I do think it a splendid build! Worth the money? Just about I'd say.

I'll go against the grain here and say it looks like a £300K set of porta-cabins to me.

Awful.

At the end of the day all that matters is that they are happy with it and it gives them years of pleasure.

Wow what a house, not much carpet to munch on though.

Sad thing is on a plot that size in that part of the country I'm guessing the next purchaser will knock it down and build 3 4 bed mock tudor jobs and make a fortune on the deal.
