Did Porsche use cable ties on the brake pad wear sensors from new???
Shouldn't this be called 'Classic car Bodging'?

Why was he upset that the pad sensors were missing? Doing discs and pads anyway! Oh hang on, they are hitting a brembo caliper with a hammer and fitting it up with cable ties. Oh and they bought a manual. They are a bunch of morons!

I'm colour blind so it may just be me, but that colour looks really flat. Awful colour.
The paint job is absolutely terrible imo.

So who's entering the competition at the end of the programme then?
Hopefully whoever does throws it back on a dyno to see what it's actually putting out.

Perhaps it was my imagination, but there seemed less arguing/bodging/disasters than in previous epidoses. Perhaps the producers have realised how st it was before and are trying to improve. Still got a way to go though!

Funny enough I was going to say £13,000 but thought I'd get some grief wink the car just looked a tad unfinished on the rare closeups.

Great news, time to set the Classic Car Rescue drinking game:

One shot for comedy accident
One shot for Mawio pronouncing car name wrong (it's an Alfa Romero)
One shot for salmon coloured trousers on the valuer
One shot for every £5000 over market value he prices it at.
One shot for Mario or Bernie losing their temper.
One shot for artificially contrived cock-up.
One shot for Bernie sourcing cheap parts.
One shot for non-period parts.
Hic!

The paint looked pitiful.

I don't think I would fancy going for Vmax in that! The engine might be running and new (battered about) brakes but what about the rest? Looks like the tester felt the same...

Wonderful cars though smile

So just like Top Gear then? Producers just following a tried and tested formula.

Fortunately I have a life so can switch the TV off and do something productive instead.
