I still fail to see why anyone would want to enter the competitions to win the cars that they build in the show. After seeing the butchery and pain the cars go through, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near it.

Couldn't make it thu the whole program last night,it was that bad !
It's actually quite alarming that a tv channel would make a program so bad,so contrived,so fake and expect the public to want to watch it every week.

The part where Bernie was 'spraying' the car ...topcoat over bare metal and filler and just wafting the gun around in the air....that was the last straw for me.

Deleted from my planner, another viewer lost channel 5.

"Strippers cars for cash" was truly dreadful.

The "nonces" left the walnut dash in the XJR when they scrapped it, that's a minimum £45 (based on Ebay prices) lost there.

I think they should go the whole-hog and have John Cleese as presenter/chief mechanic.

why do they have to re cap after every ad break nowadays......do they think we forget what we watched 3 mins earlier!

I agree. Its VERY annoying. Almost as annoying as "coming up..."

I think it all stems from American shows where they try to catch people 'channel surfing' during ad breaks.

It's cheaper because they don't have to make as much programme

i think the endless recaps act as like "filler" to pad out the programme
Filler - the guys must have shares in it
I have to admit since catching it the other week I find it compulsory telly as its so comically bad it lightens my mood on a Monday night it's really the ideal show for a Monday night for me for that reason, it's so badly staged.

It's C5. The general assumption is that you are thick. As such, you stick in huge amounts of padding and flog as much ad space as possible.

The Mockney is on The Wright Stuff this morning.

Yes. He really is a tt.
Going on about being the Crays mechanic and how you kept quite if you saw anything dodgy in the boot.

What a tit.

Now he's defending Jimmy Saville. rolleyes

So the Krays were arrested in 1968,can't find a date of birth for Bernie but reckon he is 60ish.I stand to be corrected but something doesn't add up there.
