First time for ages I had a good laugh, really enjoyed it. Anyone else think the lead resembles Rick Mail(spelling?) more so when he was on mdma!
Yes the Rik Mayall lookalike thing is pretty well known hehe . He was on Buzzcocjs when Rhod Gilbert presented it, he was introduced as something like the 'fat bloated corpse of Rik Mayall'. Greg Davies and Rhod Gilbert are good mates on the comedy circuit.

New series at 10 tonight. Andy Samberg is out, he's busy doing Brooklyn Nine Nine now. So it's a new character, and it's Taylor Lautner. Yes, really, the werewolf guy from the Twilight films. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

Also, no more Tamla Kari frown . Rachel is Esther Smith now, she was Melodie the teacher from Uncle.

Anybody watch it? Just caught up on it now and it's repeated tonight.

I liked it, it works, and Taylor Lautner can do funny.

Thought it was OK, didn't realise the character of Cuckoo had gone, so it's like starting afresh again.

I'll keep with it though, as I did enjoy the first series. smile

I nearly wet myself, laughing.
Which would not have been totally at odds with the show.

Both series have had me laughing out loud. Very little on TV does that. Ken trying to defend Steve before the tribunal while he was high as a kite was hilarious.

I used to love this show! Didn't know it was still going. For anyone who liked Andy Samberg in this he's in Brooklyn Nine Nine now, 100% worth a watch, so funny!

ONLY online??????

I really like Cuckoo - The cast is really good, which is what really makes it (along with the great writing of course), so I'm surprised if it's been consigned to the 'online dustbin'.

I was only mentioning to my OH the other day that series 3 is due this year sometime - I didn't realise that it was starting this week, but great news!

All BBC Three content is online only now.

Not sure it's a dustbin - it's the future. smile

Bugger, I didn't realise that had happened already.

I guess it'll be the future when I get a new tele that picks up the Interweb, but I'm loathe to trade in my Panasonic Plasma for something inferior on that basis.

I guess I'll have to watch it on my iPad - 30 minutes is about my limit.
