Watched the S4 finale yesterday, threw up far more questions than answers, frankly I'm amazed the show has been renewed again after that series!

The biggest issue I have is, Damien Dhark is mega powerful, fair enough, but he manages to launch every nuke in the world and it's left to just Arrow and his band of merry men (and women) to fix?

This is DC, so ignoring the fact that there's Superman in the grand scheme of things who would probably be a little concerned about the world ending, where was Flash? He might have been able to help. Just seems rather unlikely that a global world ending event would only have Oliver to fix it.

I know using 'believable' and such words is foolish when talking about this show, but still...

It was originally penned for 7 seasons but Stephen amell has said he's not sure about carrying on after season 5.

I think that's wise. I doubt it can carry on, hopefully with Oliver now the mayor he can train up a protege to take the Green Arrow outfit on.

I used to really enjoy Arrow but I've barely watched this season.

I like Legends of Tomorrow though

Arrow needs to go back to being a little darker (no not him).. It's one of those things, it was better when he was running around being a bad ass. I am not sure I enjoy this season long bady arc format, could we not have one that drags out for a few seasons with just occasional musings and something a bit different week on week.

I didn't hate season 4 on the whole however it was weak in places, I thought the arc leading up and during Laurels death was superb but it went downhill after, I also agree that they need to team up with Barry a little more for the whole world end events thing, but looking at the season end of Legends of Tomorrow that could well be on the cards.

I'm wondering if they didn't think that they were going to be renewed and that ending could well have been 'the end'. I have to say that I thought that the whole team Arrow save the world thing was a 'little' preposterous and really did work (for me) within the context of the preceding series.

I'm sure I read that he's refused to come back as he didn't like what they did with the character.

If the reports are anything to go by DC movies had stepped in to block Arrow from using certain characters which has forced a change of direction for the TV show. Hence the established Arrow plans for a Suicide Squad story line (Deadshot, Harley Quinn etc) resulted in them being suddenly killed off or cut completely, Deathstroke is also said to be off limits.

If I was a betting man I would say the events in Flash will be a convenient way to reset both TV shows to try and fit around the movies, although with Batman vs Superman being panned by critics and tales of the Suicide Squad film being hastily reworked at the moment DC seem to be doing a good job of destroying both the TV and movie side.

Final version of SS has already been screened a few times to audiences with generally positive to "oh my god it was awesome" reviews. The re-works were apparently much less than made out by rumour.

Good to hear, just as long as it is not the same test audience who loved Batman vs Superman smile

Same. Became more of a soap opera than superhero show.

Echo that. I've stuck with it. But honestly they need to simmer down on the 'romance' there are enough soaps on TV.
I'd sooner watch daredevil which is what this should be.
