Some films should never have a sequel, well some films should even have a first viewing... That aside, what films do you think they could have made a great sequel too but didn't. I'd love to have seen a sequel to this, something a bit more sci-fi showing what would have happened as the 'next step'

MY favourite MNS film and ripe for a continuation of the story IMHO.

Rocknroller - still time, but I'd bet it won't happen.
Lock-Stock for that matter.
The still born Vega Brothers Film (although they both die in the films they're in so would be a prequal).
I am Legend
Austin Powers 4 would be good too (well, he's hoping).

The Matrix should have had a sequel as should the first three Star Wars films; charting how Anakin becomes Darth Vader would have been excellent.
I also think Aliens should have a sequel. Pity they stopped the franchise there.

There are rumours of one happening but until then; District 9. I want to know what happened three years later when Christopher came back!

Was apparently written as a trilogy but didn't do as well as was hoped for (not sure why?) and MNS's career went dramatically downhill...
