Just started, there's a family doing up an old bus bought for £700 as a holiday home to rent out, he's looking for a caravan to do up. Low budget Grand Designs hehe

Anyone watching?

Yup! Precious little else to watch.

I think he was done on the price of that coach/bus. £50 would be more like it as the damned thing looks to be rotting away. Could be a good programme though.

Platform off the side of the horse box... "I'd just use this at night to pee off the side of it" hehe

Converted underground public loos - genius bit of design and thinking 'outside the box'. A place in London for £65k. Brilliant.

I imagine there were a few legal/liability issues to sort out. For instance, is the pavement the responsibility of the council, as a footway, or her as the roof of her house?

Bus finished, but where's the privy, or do they crap out of the window?

They said it would be in the wash-house at(I think)the end of the barn.

Their plan was an outdoor loo from the start, George suggested the drivers seat loo but they didn't go for it.

Talking of loos, I did like that underground flat in London. Little bit of genius to even think of a place like that and then get it done for £65k.

Certainly not a craftsman but, bet he learnt a lot along the way. Especially on measuring twice and cutting once. hehe

Loved the Airstream - completely barmy inside yet seemed to work well with the overall design.

A great idea but does limit the interior layout. George was saying that he would like to site the caravan with the drop-down-side facing the water and, there's me thinking he'd be better off with a window overlooking the water as for most of the time it will be windy and wet. hehe

But wasn't he a teacher of design and technology?

Loved the extra long screws desperately clinging across the yawning gap in his noggins...almost pro that piece.
