Anyone watch the new show?

Thought the truck conversion was ace, though thought he could have made a better job with the bed if he'd fashioned a concertina fold down rather than having to fit odd bits in here and there; not to mention the stowage of mattresses from up above.

Think George must be losing the plot with his latest idea of the revolving bungalow.

The truck was ace - although if I'd told my wife I was doing that instead of us taking our honeymoon in the Maldives I'd have been divorced within days...

Home conversions like that usually turn out to be a bit ropey, however the finish and workmanship looked first class.

Barbecue powered underfloor heating. How many barbecues do you have in the winter when you need a heated floor?

Am wondering how he will get the heat transference when most of the heat will be radiating up where the food requires it?

He will need to be careful with the barbecue giving off carbon monoxide ,unless the place is well vented ?

I can see lots of daylight between the roof and walls. So I don't think a Christmas barbecue heating the floor will do much when the north wind is blowing in through the cracks.

Or happy Christmas chatting when the rain is rattling off the tin roof.

Think he'll need to raid the shelves at B&Q and Wikes for expanding foam to cure those gaps.

I wonder if they are brave enough to build the revolving house on top of a hill.

The trailer came out brilliantly, so much space inside.

Agree on the farmer's bar, that'll be lovely in winter, wind whistling through the gaps, rain bouncing off the corrugated roof and walls whilst the old cow trough BBQ heats everything up nicely.

Yes, if I was critical pf anything, it would be the front door. Out of keeping with the rest of it but a worthwhile low budget project.

Yep, thought of that too. Then thought, perhaps it was because not much of the furniture would go through a standard carriage door. Though am sure something could have been fashioned that was more in keeping with a carriage door.
