Love the Japanese Chapel, especially the philosophy behind it.

This converted sewage plant, its over 2.5m tall so can't be a shed. And I can only see single skin brickwork and no insulation in the roof, would you need planning for it? Surely it wouldn't meet any u-values.

It was a truly wondrous thing - particularly loved the resin covered cedar floor. Planning permission, I expect would be required.

Cockpit bought doesn't fit in the garden, ok lets move house then.

Bonkers.

I wouldn't cut the bottom off, I'd drop it into the ground, underfloor storage, maybe even steps down in the cockpit through the dashboard into a bedroom area in the nose, like you get in a small boat.

Sort of like this.

That concrete mix looks a tad weak.

Really liked the one with the scaffold boards. For what it was I think it looked fantastic. Strip lights were a great idea. Main concern would be how slippery the scaffold board decking would be when wet.

Anyone else notice the black wheel marks in a curve across the wooden floor when the expanding room was opened up?

Also I'd add an extending cotton awning roof between the roofed half and the open half, so it's there if you need the extra shade.

I have scaffold decking, I covered in in a mix of sand and varnish and it grips a treat even in the wet.

I have some temporary joists laid flat in the garden and they are lethal if wet. Have used sand mixed into an internal floor finish to give the anti-slip surface.

On C4 right now, the woman with rainbow coloured hair and the pink cob thatch building flying a pirate flag built in her back garden that I'm sure pleased her neigbours. She's mentally disturbed isn't she.

She taught herself to thatch, I would never have guessed.

George is back!

The Reliant Robin conversion this week was dreadful! laugh

The cottage on the other hand had some amazing engineering - though the 'kitchen' didn't seem to have much in the way of facilities, and I wonder if water from the shower gets through the gaps in the walls. Very very clever though!
