Interesting nerd point. If Darth/Anakin does indeed live on as a ghost in Luke's life ( as per the present tense use of "has it") then if we see that ghost will it be the original Anakin actor (is he even alive still?) or the stty Young Anakin that tt Lucas replaced him with in the Jedi recut? Or something else?

Sebastian Shaw passed in 94. So we would be stuck with the wrong one. However, it could be someone different

This looks good, although I find JJ a too much style over substance type film maker, this looks like a genuine conduit back to childhood epic fantasy.

Is the bad ass looking trooper a re-imagined boba fett (shat out of the zarlac)???

I just watch both of the teasers back to back with my 5yo.

Now we are both excited.

He did ask if Darth Vader was dead though, bit remiss of me that he's not seen Jedi yet.

Older tall bald actor with gravitas that could pass as a reasonable replacement, Patrick Stewart?

Brian Blessed in a bald cap?

No wait.............................................how could we be so stupid. There can be only one man to play the role.

James Earl Jones !!! After all he voiced Darth in the original films, I mean how could that go wrong............hehe

Maybe not physically possible...he has issues standing. But it would seem fitting that Dave Prowse do it. He may have to be dubbed.
An older tall actor needed....Donald Sutherland?

Movie event of the decade incoming, cant wait, seeing Han Solo and Chewbacca in the three second snippet was very powerful and I am not even a massive Star Wars geek. I do love the original three films and this looks like the genuine article after the shiny disappointments they foisted on us, someone mentioned the griminess and that is absolutely what I loved about them, made it all the more plausible and immersive, used, battered, scorched and covered with dust.

Saw this as well for the PS4 this morning,

It looks utterly jaw dropping.

FFS! Now I need to buy a PS4 biggrin That looks brilliant.

Wrt the new trailer... What can I say? Just amazing. Watching it I was instantly a kid again.

No other film/franchise will ever come close to having the impact on me (and my/our generation) that Star Wars did. I do feel genuinely honoured to have been the age I was when it came out and to have grown up with it.

Hoping for very special things. I'm emotionally invested.

It does look amazing, but the fact it's being published by EA concerns me............

It's a bloody trailer, no gameplay footage whatsoever.

This could be better than the main film, a story about how the Rebels gained the plans for the Death Star cool

yes

It's rendered on machines that will make the Xbox One/PS4 look like a calculator watch.

yes

Such a shame as that'll probably be the only time that engine is running on a pc smile.
