Unfortunately, a lot of games these day don't get released on the PC.
When they do, they're often quick ports released months after the console version.
I hope that's not the case, I was merely commenting on the fact that someone would go out to buy a PS4 based on the footage shown, which is of course just rendered on a very heavy machine, possibly taking hours per frame.
Firstly, that engine already exists on PC in one form or another. It's the same engine that's been used for Battlefield 3 and 4, amongst others. When they do, they're often quick ports released months after the console version.

Secondly, what major game, that isn't a Sony or MS exclusive, hasn't been released on PC at the same time as its console counterpart? Especially EA games. GTAV is possibly one but that's par the course for Rockstar.
Lastly, that trailer is running on the in game engine in real time. DICE have come out and said it looks like that, as have a number of other media outlets who have played it.
I'll eat my pants if it actually looks like that on consoles though.

So....Another multi player online only experience, and to hell with you dingle players who enjoy a story.

The gameplay footage shown is single player footage on a very high end PC so assuming you've got a decent gaming PC, it will look like that. The console versions of course will look slightly worse but still pretty decent on the PS4\Xbone.Ah well, no need to worry about buying it then.

There is also a large multiplayer element (of course) but that looks substantially worse again as they would never be able to run a game with that fidelity in multiplayer. You can find footage of the multiplayer gameplay on you tube to see what I mean.
Unfortunately DICE have traditionally not produced a very interesting or interactive single player experience and I suspect like their previous efforts, it will be a pretty one dimensional scripted\on rails affair. Still it's set in the Star Wars universe and looks VERY pretty so there may still be some enjoyment to be had.

Hence not posting a link. I did have a look at the spoilers and now regret it. The only thing I would say - if true there's a lack of originality imo.
This bit isn't really surprising to be honest. The large investment involved in making films these days means originality is an option that Hollywood can rarely afford or are willing to risk. Vincefox said:

I can't actually find any fresh rumour stuff online. Could someone post it in a hidden tag please?
itMy pleasure.
I have to admit, obviously we all know the story up to this point, and you can get a bit of a feel from the trailers where it's going to go - or perhaps more tellingly how far things haven't progressed since the end of RotJ.
I'm pretty confident I could write the broad strokes of the story now and get it' 80%+ right - the details though are still a mystery.
