Maybe not major reveals but there definitely seemed to be some scenes in there that I hadn't seen before. I was weak and clicked on it and switched it off after 5 seconds as I don't want to loose the first impact of seeing it all on the big screen.Guvernator said:

Yep, all the TV spots are 99% stuff we have seen before or about 5 seconds further on.No plot has been shown, no big reveals have been shown.
Long may this continue....now i must get back to making my costume #sadb
dI'm not talking about plot point or big reveals, more about seeing scenes that I want to have as much impact as possible on the big screen. For instance I wish I hadn't seen the stormtrooper army, even though I only saw it for about 5 seconds it's still too much, would have preferred to be wowed by that on opening night.
A lot of the big FX scenes loose their impact if you seem them beforehand and most trailers show far to many money shots. Over the last few years I thought I was getting jaded as films just didn't wow me as much but it just turns out it was over exposure to too many trailers which shoot their FX load in 30 seconds. Now I've stopped watching so many, I find I'm wowed more often than not.
A lot of the big FX scenes loose their impact if you seem them beforehand and most trailers show far to many money shots. I wasn't always like this, I used to lap up EVERY second of footage, news, spoilers etc but I found myself going to be films and not being wowed. I just thought for a while that I was getting jaded or films where getting rubbish. Then a year or so ago, as an experiment I tried going spoiler\trailer free to a few films and all of the sudden the wow factor was back to the point where I'd recommend anyone to give it a try. I've found teasers are usually OK but watching a 90 second trailer where they often put all the money shots in definitely lessens the impact on the big screen.

Just been reading Empire magazine's Star Wars issue, in it Kathleen Kennedy states there are a couple of very famous people playing humble stormtroopers in the the new film. So if we spot a short one with Cuban heels it might just be Thomas Mapother. He'll be the one that doesn't hit his head on the blast door.

Well I'm still only referencing Luke and the good trilogy. In those films, Jedis were make-believe mostly. Stories.Even if one accepts the s
