It's Luke talking to Han and Leia's kid obviously. He says my father "has" it because obviously Darth lives on as a ghost just like Obi Wan did.

Just showed to the boy (6).

At the end I said "Han Solo and Chewie. How cool is that?"

Reply was "But Han Solo has black hair."
biggrin

I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something that doesn't feel quite right about the second trailer. After the first one suggesting a kick ass action film, there now appears to be a bit of Disney creeping in....

From the moment the music begins (and god, I just love that haunting score) this just looks so freakin' awesome.

The touches like the crashed x-wing, the fact the inside of the x-wing cockpits still look crap ... it just gives me the sense they've taken care to move freshen up the franchise but not completely destroy its roots.

If Abrams can do just half what he achieved rebooting Star Trek then I am very very excited by where this might take the franchise after I, II and III. Even my boy of 9 prefers episodes IV, V and VI.

So long as BB-8 isn't too cute and kiddie and doesn't feature too heavily....

I don't believe it....I got tingles...and now I am actually looking forward to it.

After mostly ignoring all things Star Wars since the stty prequels....wow...
Tingles and a bloody tear in my eye - can't believe how that's got to me so much. Very excited ... I was 14 when Star Wars was released, I'm as excited now at 52. Hopefully the last 3 can be forgotten at long last smile

Chewie was already 200+ in the originals. What's another 40 years?

The trailer looks awesome. I'm already looking forward to Christmas.

Mostly the same words, but it isn't the same audio track spoken from RotJ, if that's what you mean.

Luke: You're wrong, Leia. You have that power too. In time you'll learn to use it as I have. The Force is strong in my family. My father has it. I have it and... [looks directly at Leia] My sister has it. [waits for the words to sink in] Yes. It's you, Leia.

The prequels also had a lot of the same dialogue as the originals. I don't know if that was smug-self referencing, Easter egg stuff for old fans or just stty dialogue writing by Lucas.

edit.
Loved the shot of the tie fighter shooting at other fighters in the hanger bay.

I was quite surprised to learn that BB-8 is not CGI but a working model (don't ask me how it works).
