The singer, Kristen Bell(?) could certainly belt it out.

I might even take the grandkids to see the stage show when it comes out.
Idina Menzel, Derek. I too love a bit of frozen. Olaf's my favorite smile

OMG that made me properly laugh at the end.

Is that an "extra"? I don't remember that bit in the film

An oldie but a goodie -
'The Devil's Own' with Harrison Ford ( good cop ) and Bradd Pitt ( honourable IRA man ).
Plenty of beer and pop-corn, shoes off and watch a pretty good action film.
It went off my horizon after seeing it at the cinema a few years ago, but still worth a watch today even though the politics might have changed a bit since.
8/10 but not sure about the story about the bag of money holds up, but who cares ?

Hang on. I'm not sure if you guys are serious. Nothing goes over my head. I am too quick - and I would catch it.

Anyway Depp while having good look still eclipses most regarding having somewhat of a range, a sorely short talent amongst current hollywood actors. Scissorhands/Eating Gilbert/Alice/Pirates (tbf he does get cast in ever T Burton movie). (I think he did something with sponge bob square pants). I stand behind statement he has range.

I was tempted to buy the Frozen DVD. But I settled for Despicable Me 2 instead.

Anyway, check out some of the Frozen parody songs.

"How I Live Now"

It's not the best film in the world but, for a "young adult" novel conversion it's pretty brutal.

They should show it as part of the national curriculum - might stop today's kids being so selfish. It really brings home the infamous "five meals from anarchy"quote.

6/10

The Grand Budapest Hotel
I know I'm a little late to the party on this one - and now that I've seen it I regret having waited so long to watch it. What an utter joy. One of the best films I've seen in ages - I spent the whole time grinning. Bloody brilliant.
I felt exactly the same, absolutely loved it smile
Bought this for my mrs because it sounded like the ste she likes. Didn't check the director. I'd heard it was good.

Anyway as soon as started I thought hold on this is fantastic Mr fox but with people. Same music ( ok same style by same composer)

Held my attention, it's a good film but I'm tired if the director and his style.

6/10

If you haven't seen fantastic Mr fox you should.

Am very surprised to put this film in this thread.

After reading so many negative reviews, I even planned on deleting it from my Love Film rental list, but too late.

The film was The Expendables 3. Everyone went out today except me, so I thought I'd just chill out and watch this, as there was nothing else on. Wasn't expecting much, as I didn't like the first two films too much.

To my surprise, I actually really enjoyed it - yes, it was ridiculous and cheesy, but it seemed to work a lot better than the previous efforts, and the action was very well done, I thought.

And I was all psyched up to hate it....

22 Jump Street

Not as good as the first but still decent enough with a good few laughs (mainly driven by the excellent Ice-Cube).

Entertaining guff that didn't take itself too seriously.
this ^^^ watched it at the weekend and there were some genuine cry laughing moments

Foxcatcher - 9/10

Absolutely brilliant, one of the best films I've seen in years. Exploring mothers, brothers, power and wealth. Mark Ruffalo and Channing Tatum are brilliant but Steve Carell is simply staggering - its an Oscar worthy performance. Its brilliantly filmed and directed.

^^ Found it very average myself. Locke, Nightcrawler and more are, for me, far higher up the scale of releases of the year.

Watched Gravity last night, which was an entertaining way to pass an hour and a half.

But the best bit was watching the "making of" program i found on the Blue ray. I'm still trying to work out how they link the virtual camera to the robot arms and time them with the lighting box.

Always annoys me how C5 edit out anything 'racial' from films.
Dirty Dozen, the enquiry about dining engagements scene.
By editing out the offending racial slur by Maggot it takes away from Maggot's character and softens him, while at the same time making Jefferson look like a completely aggressive ahole.

The Dambusters was on this week late one afternoon. They didn't edit out the name of Gibson's dog and it could be quite clearly heard many times during the film.
