Just finished watching Faster with Dwayne (rock) Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton, one of those idle "let's see this on netflix" moments, and was actually really really good and worth a watch

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1433108/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Dwayne's best film.
Caught me off guard. I stumbled upon it on Sky Movies and thought it was going to be a bit pants...It was ace. I love it when that happens.
Cracking film that and some nice cars. Ill have to dig out my DVD and have another watch.

Well I sat and watched Bridesmaids last night as my wife was watching it.

I expected it to be a usual romance / chick flick but was wrong, there was some top swearing in it and I enjoyed it.
Hilarious film IMO.

Gets dismissed far too often (by men)

Indeed. Affleck has come a long way as an actor, director and writer.

Have you seen Gone Baby Gone? Not for the faint hearted but a very good film.

GBG is a superb film, dark but I don't mind that.

We have similar taste it seems, and you're an LFC fan! I'll keep an eye out for your reviews smile

Each to their own. I tried watching it and had to turn off. Also tried with the same woman being a cop and recently on a road trip with her grandmother. Lasted 20 minutes max.

Enjoyed Fury last night. I imagine life in tank regiments in WW2 wasnt much off what was shown in the film. Obviously with some over dramatisation (maybe?)

X-Men Days of future Great film, thoroughly enjoyed it

Survivor - Milla Jovovich is a US embassy security officer who discovers shady things going on then gets implicated and has to stop the bad guys (yawn)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3247714/

not great but not bad either... all in all stupendously average. Extra marks for Pierce Brosnan's 'tache!!

watched Spy on Friday - same director and Melissa McCarthy again

getting a bit bored of her self-deprecating weight jokes, but if you follow my method (remove brain, replace with half a bottle of wine) you will find parts of it very funny 6.5/10

Big Hero 6 - I enjoyed it, one of the better animated type movies 8/10

Ex Machina - I liked this too...I didn't see the ending coming like that, I was thinking that the creator would be some mad serial killer and then after killing the skinny guy just send out another random 'competition winning email' to another victim. But no... good though 7.5/10

Watched Avengers:Age of Ultron on the worlds biggest IMAX screen last night in Sydney (117ft x 97ft - absolutely massive) and it wasn't as bad as I expected. Kinda had those few nice Joss Whedon touches.
