Ghostbusters - loved it ever since I was a child (even if I was too scared to watch a lot of it then) and love it now, especially as I can appreciate the sheer volume of adult jokes in it, which is pretty much anything Bill Murray says. Great script, great directing, great cast, great chemistry, great everything really. One of the very few films I'd easily give a 10/10

Great, great film. Saw it seven times when it first came out ('84?), loved it ever since. Have just introduced my 5 year old son to it (I forgot about the relatively prolific use of 'st' but no harm done) and he loves it also.

Ghostbusters2 - less good, but watchable.
At least he'll be too young to get all the sex references - still can't believe they got away with that scene of the ghost giving Ray a blowjob in a 30 year old PG movie! Also if you watch closely one of the arms that come out the sofa cops a nice feel of Sigourney and Ron Jeremy makes a cameo in the crowd

I must have been about 5 when I first watched it and those demon dogs scared the crap out of me. Always had to fast forward the parts they appeared in, and the library ghost

Jai Courtney was terrible.
I've yet to see a film with him in it that i thought he's been good in. He plays the same character and person in every film I've seen him in so far.
Not just me then.

Only film he was ok ish in was reacher. My god he's terrible in everything else.

Watched 'The Interview' last night.
It was actually much much better than expected. Certainly the best Seth Rogen film I've seen.
2/10

I've seen this film far more than any other, I'm word perfect on the script yet it always cracks me up. It's just brilliant, agree 10/10!

The Heat - 7/10

Spy - 7/10

Both OK to watch, don't need to concentrate and have point of humor, Think Melissa McCarthy films are generally good and funny to watch, Got Tammy to watch this weekend.

The Interview - 8/10

Did you watch it backwards.

Tammy is horrible. Don't bother.

I second tammy is rubbish, and I quite like Melissa's films.
I watched Begin again, with Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley. A very nice film, although I can not pinpoint what I liked about it, it made me feel good watching it defo recommend.
Also I know this is good films but I recently started watching White Collar on netflix, pretty good too.

Everyone else had taken their seatbelt off. I liked it as much for the impressive shots - the overhead scene of Jerusalem being overrun by about 10,000 zombies was amazing. It was basically a good version of I Am Legend though.

Maggie - starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Some people have said its slow but it isn't. I think people expect it to be another action movie where it's more of a character piece makes it stand out from other zombie films.

Terminator salvation - I think I'm the only one to like this. While not as good as the first 2, it brings something different to the table showcasing the war between humans and machines, it has a darker atmosphere than T3 which was a bad of crap.

Terminator Genisys. Yes I liked it too, its a better film than T3 and Salvation, Arnie is good in it, ignore the bad reviews. *Mid credits extra bit.

Minions. I may be a bit biased because I just think Minions are up there with the muppets as characters. The trailer is basically the first part of the film with the t-rex, Dracula, etc. Maybe slightly not as good as Despicable Me films, but I don't care. *Mid credits and very end credits extra bits.

Ted 2. Watched it last night, came home, watched the last part of Ted on TV. No Mila Kunis, Amanda Seyfreid is not Mila Kunis. Thought it was good, if you liked Ted then you'll like Ted 2 (I know there are some who think Ted is st, this isn't going to change that). Coming home and seeing the end of Ted, yes maybe Ted is a bit better, but 2 is still a good watch. *Very end credits extra bit.

I'm posting about the end credits bits because when I've talked about Minions and asked if they saw the bit after all the credits the reply has been "No??!? eekfrown " . If you're walking out when the words start at the end, you're probably going to miss out on something, whether it's a sequel teaser, cameo, song or out takes. You've paid money to see it. They should put whether there are credits scenes on the ticket or something. Maybe we can get a wiki thread going with movies that have them.

Watched Boyhood over the past two nights. Very good coming of age drama filmed over twelve years using the same main actors. Little slow in places but worth sticking with. 8/10.

I was really disappointed with Minins personally. Felt like 15 minutes of ideas stretched over a 90 minute movie and I god bored of it very quickly. A real shame as love them in the DM movies but definitely better suited to popping in and out of a movie rather than being the main focus.

Safe House - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1599348/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Didn't know anything about this flick, however it's a great solid up-tempo action film that gets straight to it, keeps it interesting right the way through. It's not deep or sophisticated in any way but found it really enjoyable.

Agree totally. You can usually tell a few seconds into the end credits whether there'll be extras, as the lights only come up a slight amount if there are extras. They come up brighter to allow easier exiting if there are no extras. Most people don't notice though. At least that's my experience in any theatre I've been in around the globe.

There's a website called Whats After The Credits?

When the lights in the cinema come up after a film, I always check it on my phone to decide whether to wait or not.

Whiplash, which I've seen before but the wife hasn't and I saw it on a plane so it was somewhat improved by watching in 5.1 on the cinema screen. Still brilliant either way. Amazing that a movie with too really unlikable characters in the lead roles keeps you sucked in especially when the premise of jazz drumming is a bit niche. 9/10

Kingsman - I know this one divides opinion but I loved it. SLJ's lisp was a bit unnecessary and was it me or did it disappear half way through? You know the good guys will win in the end but it did feel like there was some peril involved. Colin Firth was pretty epic, especially in the church fight. And as you would expect I liked the way it twisted the genre. Recommended 8/10

We finally got netflix sorted out (router hub issue)

We found a film called 3 days to kill, with kevin Costner.

It was a bit odd but had some funny moments and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.

When i saw Luc besson had a hand in it it clicked, very familiar to TAXI and some elements of Ronin too.

a good 3.5/5 star film.
